Linkin Park's Chester Bennington will be pulling double duty at today's MusiCares MAP Fund benefit in Los Angeles. Part of the evening will include his acceptance of the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award, which will be presented by Linkin Park bandmate Mike Shinoda for Bennington's commitment to the addiction recovery process.
But Chester is also set to take the stage at Club Nokia to perform with Stone Temple Pilots. Special guests Slash and Duff McKagan will join in the fun as well.
All proceeds from the event will go to the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment.
