Bowling Green Police report that Bowling GreenStateUniversity student, Thomas Cline, 23, originally of Mansfield, was found dead in an off-campus apartment Sunday. He was discovered by his roommate.The case was turned over to Wood County Coroner Dr. Douglas Hess, and an autopsy was performed Tuesday. A cause of death in the case is yet to be determined as the coroner is still awaiting final toxicology reports but police report they found no evidence of foul play and there was no indication that Cline had tried to harm himself. Cline was majoring in health care administration in the College of Health and Human Services.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office will hand out awards for 2011 at a ceremony on Wednesday. Several awards will be given out for the Deputy of the Year, Correction Officer of the Year and Civilian Employee of the Year.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Sheriff’s Office on Park Avenue East in Mansfield at 2 p.m.
Feasibility study in Ontario for an Aquatic Center

In Ontario a group of citizens have come together to inquire about an aquatic center in Marshall park. They will have a feasibility study to see if they should do it or not, according to Mayor Larry Collins.
The meetings for the public to attend will be in April and June at the Ontario Middle School.
A Best Friends Animal Society campaign to remove the automatic “vicious” tag from pit bulls and all short-haired muscular mutts that resemble pit bulls, was signed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Tuesday. Richland County Dog Warden, Dave Jordan explains what this means. If a dog were to attack someone and the dog was unprovoked, that would be a situation were the dog would be deemed a vicious dog not it's breed.

CNL Healthcare Trust, Inc., a real estate investment firm focused on senior housing and healthcare properties, announced its first acquisition of five senior housing communities from affiliates of Primrose Retirement Communities, LLC (“Primrose”) for approximately $84 million.
The acquisition represents a total of 394 senior housing units, all of which were built between 2004 and 2007. Purchased communities include Ohio and Mansfield Senior Living in Mansfield and the Marion Senior Living in Marion.
